Dickens Heath Community
Primary School
Dickens Heath Community Primary School opened in September 2002, a new school for a new community with superb modern facilities. The school building was extended during 2007 and the schools next plans are developing the grounds and building a Muga [Multi Use Games Area].
A school noticeboard providing current information and examples of children’s work is located in the Village Centre at the Parkridge Homes Marketing Suite, Rumbush Lane, Waterside, B90 1UD. This can be viewed at the Marketing Suite which is open daily 10am – 5pm.
Recently receiving an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted report, the school incorporates the following:
Foundation Stages 1 & 2 (nursery and reception)
Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) and Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6).
Located on Three Acres Lane in the village, the school is a short walk from the Village Centre.
